SERMACS 2009 Sponsorship - Information

SERMACS 2009 is expected to be the largest ever regional meeting of chemistry professionals coming together to hear and give talks on "Think Positive, Think Global, Think Chemistry". Our program includes the most progressive symposia topics, the best in entertainment, the best food and hospitality, and the most exhibits for you to choose from. As a sponsor, you are sure to get a great return on your investment. We encourage the participation within your organization as well as your financial contribution.
Sponsoring SERMACS 2009 is simple. Determine your contribution level (see table below). Print, complete and sign the sponsorship signature form and mail it along with the contribution to Jorge L. Colón at the following address:

Contributions should be made out to "SERMACS 2009, Inc." and can be broken into more than one payment. Thanks in advance for your help in making SERMACS 2009 a successful event.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS for the Southeastern Regional American Chemical Society Meeting (SERMACS 2009)

a) Benefactor ($20,000 or more): We are happy to work with SERMACS Benefactors to customize an incentive package.  Possible incentives include a double-wide booth in the SERMACS exposition, a full page ad in the program book, meeting registration for up to 20 people (special acknowledgment badges included), a feature ad on the web page, a named symposium and input into speaker selection (the organization may wish to help organize the entire symposium).  We will try to work with any special programming requests that our Benefactors might have.  Other incentives are possible.

b) Platinum ($5000 or more): Platinum level sponsors provide general financial assistance for the meeting or underwrite an entire special event, for example a whole day symposium (2 sessions), an all day workshop or the meeting in miniature. The name of Platinum level sponsors will appear on our website, in the program, and any press releases on the meeting or any advertising literature for the meeting. Company logo, if desired, can be on all literature and correspondence pertaining to the meeting. Will include up to 4 free registrations and a booth in the SERMACS exposition or a full-page ad in the program book with your provided artwork.

c) Gold ($2500 - 4999): Listing as a Gold sponsor on website, in program and signage (includes company logo). Can sponsor a symposium (1/2 day session, a 1/2 day workshop or part of our undergraduate meeting in miniature) with name listed on signage outside the door and any time this symposium is mentioned or underwrite a portion of the cost of a particular event. Will include 2 free registrations and 1/2 page ad with your provided artwork in the program.

d) Silver ($1000 - 2499): Listing as a Silver sponsor on website, an acknowledgment in the program book and on signage (includes company logo); can sponsor an event (e.g., coffee break or a general session; we will provide you with the listing of such sessions). Meeting registration for 1 person/$1,000 contribution will be provided as well as acknowledgment at the sponsored event.

e) Bronze ($500 - $999) level: Listing as a sponsor on website and in program (business card-size ad); can sponsor a specific talk by a speaker for which we will provide you with the lists to choose from.

Donor In Kind or Cash: All donations to SERMACS 2009 are appreciated and will help us to provide a meeting of the highest quality.  Donors will be acknowledged in the program book and on the web site.

In addition, you may prefer to sponsor a particular event.  The table below specifies the events and sponsorship amounts for them:

SERMACS Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization so all sponsorships are tax deductible. Sponsorship payment is due on or before April 1, 2009 unless otherwise negotiated.
